11 NovBlood Donation Camp in collaboration with Pawan Hospital Blood Centre
Anangpuria School of Pharmaceutical Sciences (ASPS) proudly organized a Blood Donation Camp on the occasion of Thalassemia Day, in collaboration with Pawan Hospital Blood Centre, where an overwhelming response led to the collection of 150 units of blood. The initiative aimed to create awareness about Thalassemia, a genetic blood disorder that requires regular blood transfusions for patient survival, and to highlight the critical importance of voluntary blood donation in saving countless lives. Faculty members, staff, and students of ASPS came forward with great enthusiasm to contribute towards this noble cause, reflecting their sense of social responsibility and compassion. Such camps not only encourage the spirit of giving but also help in ensuring a steady supply of safe blood for patients in need. The successful organization of this event once again reaffirmed ASPS’s commitment towards community welfare and its role in sensitizing future pharmacists to the importance of healthcare initiatives beyond academics.
