Anangpuria School of Pharmaceutical Sciences proudly celebrated National Pharmacy Education Day on the birth anniversary of Prof. M.L. Schroff, a pioneer of pharmacy education in India. The day was dedicated to honouring the vital role of pharmacists in the healthcare system and emphasizing the importance of quality pharmaceutical education. The event featured two key segments: an enlightening guest lecture and the innovative “Budding Entrepreneur” competition, both tailored for students of B. Pharmacy and D. Pharmacy.
Budding Entrepreneur – Showcasing Innovation and Pharmaceutical Vision. This signature event offered a vibrant platform for students to present innovative product formulations, packaging solutions, and business plans addressing contemporary healthcare needs. The competition encouraged entrepreneurial thinking and practical application of pharmaceutical knowledge. Students impressed the panel of esteemed judges — Prof (Dr.) Roop K. Khar, Dr. Madhuri Grover, and Mr. Nishant Yadav — with their creativity, technical soundness, and presentation skills. The winning team, Harsh and Diya from B. Pharmacy 3rd Semester, captivated the judges with their unique and marketable pharmaceutical product idea, earning them well-deserved recognition.
Adding to the educational value of the day, Mr. Neeraj Kumar, Head Sales Manager at Grihp Biotech Pvt. Ltd., delivered an inspiring guest lecture. He shared key insights from his vast experience in pharmaceutical sales and marketing, discussing career opportunities, emerging trends in biotechnology, and the evolving landscape of the pharmaceutical industry. His talk energized the students and encouraged them to explore diverse career paths in the field.
