11 NovEye Checkup Camp & CPR Workshop
On 25th April 2025, Anangpuria School of Pharmaceutical Sciences (ASPS) organized a CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) Workshop in collaboration with Metro Hospital, Faridabad, exclusively for pharmacy students and staff members. The workshop aimed to equip participants with life-saving skills and practical knowledge on how to respond effectively in emergency situations such as cardiac arrests, choking, or sudden collapse, where immediate medical assistance can make a difference between life and death. Experienced medical professionals guided the attendees through demonstrations and hands-on training, highlighting the importance of timely intervention and the critical role healthcare professionals and even trained citizens can play in saving lives. On the same day, ASPS also conducted a Free Eye Camp in association with Dr. Sonia Sharma from Drishti Vision Care, where pharmacy students were provided with comprehensive eye check-ups and consultations to spread awareness about eye health, early detection of vision problems, and the need for regular eye care in today’s digital era. Both initiatives reflected the institution’s commitment to holistic development by not only preparing students academically but also sensitizing them towards healthcare practices that contribute to the well-being of society.
