Anangpuria Group of Institutions successfully organized a five-day Faculty Development Programme (FDP) from 4th August to 8th August 2025 on the theme “Enhancing Teaching Excellence and Holistic Wellbeing for Sustainable Academic Growth”. The FDP aimed at fostering continuous learning and sharing among faculty members while enhancing teaching competencies, encouraging curriculum innovation, and integrating research with pedagogy. The programme witnessed enthusiastic participation from the faculty members of Anangpuria School of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Anangpuria Law School, Anangpuria School of Management & Technology, and Anangpuria School of Engineering & Technology. The inaugural session was conducted by Mr. Narender Ahooja who emphasized the qualities of a good teacher as described in Rigveda, effective classroom management, and innovative teaching strategies. On the second day, Dr. B.P. On the fourth day, Prof. Dharminder Kumar delivered an insightful session on Outcome Based Education (OBE), discussing curriculum design, mapping of COs, POs, and PSOs, and aligning teaching methods with Bloom’s Taxonomy for better learning outcomes.

On the final day, Prof. Khar provided a detailed summary of all the sessions and consolidated the key learnings. Faculty members filled in the feedback performa and were also given a question paper to answer, helping them recall and reflect on the concepts learnt during the FDP. The programme concluded with the distribution of certificates by Prof. Khar and Dr. Deepika Yadav, Vice Principal, ASPS, appreciating the active participation of all faculty members.

This FDP proved to be a meaningful initiative in empowering educators with modern teaching practices, research insights, and wellness techniques, thereby enriching their professional journey and contributing towards the overall academic excellence of the institution.
