Workshop on Intellectual Property Rights

The B.S. Anangpuria Institute of Pharmacy recently organized a 5-Days intensive and interactive workshop from 20th to 24th February 2023 on the topic “Intellectual Property Rights: A Macroscopic Understanding of Patent(ing) and Beyond!” The workshop was conducted by Prof. Umesh Banakar, Professor and President, Banakar Consulting Services, Westfield, USA, and Founder Goa – Center for Excellence in Intellectual Property [G-CEIP], along with Co-instructor & Coordinator Prof. Rajashree Gude, Professor, Goa College of Pharmacy.

The workshop was basically intended to deliver the participants with in-depth knowledge and macroscopic understanding of the entire domain of patent(ing) and beyond. The information was presented in extremely simple and comprehensible terms, making it easy for the students to thoroughly understand the concepts. The workshop not only delivered the participating students with insights into IPR but also remained successful in motivating and encouraging them to pursue a career in IP-related disciplines.
