Expert Talk by Dr. Jai Kumar Mishra

The B.S. Anangpuria Institute of Pharmacy recently organized an expert talk session for its students with Dr. Jai Kumar Mishra, Head – Regulatory Affairs (South Asia), BASF India Limited. Dr. Mishra provided the students with deep insights into the crucial role of the Regulatory Affairs department in pharmaceutical companies and also spoke about the various responsibilities that regulatory affairs personnel have to shoulder.

He explained in detail the origin of regulations and the various practices involved in drug regulatory affairs. He also shared key insights on the latest updates in the industry. Students learned a great deal about the acquisitions and good regulatory practices that are followed for the manufacturing of drugs.

Overall, the session with Dr. Mishra remained highly insightful for the students, who benefitted a lot from interacting with him.
