As part of the academic curriculum, the students of D. Pharmacy 2nd year of Anangpuria School of Pharmaceutical Sciences undertook an industrial visit to Yakult Danone India Pvt. Ltd., Sonipat, on October 10, 2024. This visit aimed to provide the students with hands-on experience in a real-world manufacturing environment, enhancing their understanding of the pharmaceutical and food supplement industries.
Yakult Danone India Pvt. Ltd. is renowned for producing probiotic drinks, particularly Yakult, a globally recognized product known for its health benefits, especially in promoting gut health.
The visit began with a formal presentation by the representatives of Yakult Danone India Pvt. Ltd. The presentation introduced the students to the company’s history, its mission and the range of products it manufactures. The students were informed about the significance of probiotics, their role in maintaining a healthy digestive system and how Yakult plays a crucial part in promoting overall wellness.
